Skeletal System

The bone is formed by mature bone tissue which consists of osteoblasts, osteocytes and osteoclasts. Osteoblasts and osteocytes are found on the surface of bone matrix.

Osteoclasts are found deep in the bone. The deposition and resorption of the osteoblasts, osteocytes and osteoclasts help maintain bone mass, density and structure. Osteoblasts deposit calcium phosphate out to the bone.
