Muscular System

Muscular Dystrophy is a disease that causes the muscles to break down. It's most common in boys, however girls can get this genetic disorder too. People who have this disease have misssing genes. These genes allow you to make proteins that make muscles strong. Without these proteins, your muscles are weaker. Muscular dystrophy can be developed at any age of life. Cerebral Palsy is a genetic disorder that affect's a person's movement and posture. Unfortunately, if a child has this disorder they also have many other disorders too such as mental retardation, seizures & speech problems.
